Alexa Lammers-Becker (b. 1999, Hartington, Nebraska) is primarily a drawer and painter. Her work studies botanical subjects through a lens of color, detail, and organic energy. Becker's interest in flowers and the natural world comes from exploring in her grandma's garden as a child. She now finds connection to nature and people through the works she creates -- sitting before a rose bush for hours or hearing about one's bond to a particular flower. Becker received her B.A. from Augustana University in 2022 and continues her artistic pursuit from her studio and as a teacher in Phoenix, Arizona.

Her work has been shown in a variety of galleries and exhibitions in the US and is recognized with the Harold Spitznagel Medal.
